Dara Fann is a self-taught artist. Born in 1978 in Beckley, West Virginia, Dara took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Dara developed an appreciation for her rural surroundings. She would often sit in the woods for hours much to the distress of her mother. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Dara's life would be centered upon her passion for art. 

Dara is now a professional artist part-time. She lives in Madison and is active in the Charleston Art Scene.
